There are times in life we all need support. By creating a safe, empathic environment I can help you to process tough emotions and come to terms with challenging life events. I am also able to work alongside you to help you overcome self-defeating behaviours. Normalising difficult feelings and finding healthy ways to express them is hugely beneficial for building resilience and moving forward.
I provide counselling and psychotherapy for individuals and couples. Areas I can help with include anxiety, generalised anxiety disorder, depression, panic attacks, low self esteem, loss, bereavement, alcoholism, eating disorders, relationship problems, family and work issues. By providing a supportive and non-judgemental space, I enable you to express and make sense of the most difficult of feelings.
I also specialise in working with children providing support for young people dealing with a wide range of issues like depression, anxiety, bereavement and loneliness that can arise for many reasons including family separation, bullying, and the loss of a loved one.
'I feel that I have gained the methods and realisations that I need in order to move forward, and that the support and encouragement have helped me to believe in myself. I know it would have taken me a lot longer to get to this point without therapy' - a client.
